For the lack of better, I give you music

So lately I haven't done much writing, not poetry, as it is painfully obvious, when you look at this blog, and not musical writing either. The reason for this is that, I'm am emotionally uncertain, I don't know what or how to feel, so because of this, I really can't write much poetry, as that is very emotional heavy. So lately I have mostly spent my time listening to music, and I though, what the fuck, I'll share it with you, give it a little insight, and call it a day :)
So here are some of the songs that have been floating around my head lately:

The Floor is Made of Lava - Traditional 84
A very insightful new song from the Danish band The Floor is Made of Lava, sort of gives me an early Bob Dylan vibe, mixed with some never elements, a a hole lot of ideas and thoughts.

"So I have no clue where the roads will take me
No ideas how the roads were made
And if I'm not supposed to trespass
How am I to find my own way?"

A fantastically beautiful song from the, again, Danish band Turboweekend, it's about a man, who has had some sort of relationship with a girl, maybe a girlfriend, maybe not, but the have become friends again, something that he cannot come to terms with. Guaranteed to put a tear in your eye, if you have experienced something along those line, but even if you haven't, it is still beautiful.

My favourite song as of late. A fantastic little, slightly obscure, song, from their incredible album; Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace, an album I have heard more times that I can count lately. I don't really know what to say about this song, other that, it's the only song that has gotten me to take out my guitar and strum a tune lately, and that is quite big for a guy, who usually plays at least an hour a day, and happily much more. If you like this track, please check out the album, it is awesome.

And here, the last song, is one I like to listen to, when I'm down in the dumps, to realize, that, hey, my life is not as horrible as I make it out to be. It's a strangely positive song, from a band, that takes quite a lot of inspiration from the grunge period, and as effect of that have a big repertoire of sad and depressive songs. So if you're feeling kinda down, like I am, give it a listen, and brighten up your day :)
